cougar boots
These are the boots that Mom used to wear and they were so comfortable and so warm. My Sorrels are too tight so I’m definitely looking to replace them with these 🙂

thud, thud, thud
That’s the sound of the acorns as they fall from the large red oak that overhangs our bedroom and computer room. They’ve been falling steadily for several weeks now. They land on the roof with a loud thud, then roll down and bounce on to the ground which is now littered with hundreds of them. Wonder if you can eat them 🙂
